Damn Runescape.
Ok so I decided to go merchanting in Runescape last night. I got fascinated at the price of yew logs (350-380 each).
So, being the ambitious young lady I am, I decided to go try my hand at cutting yew logs and selling them.
Quality, quantity, and price normally comes in hand, and soon I learnt why are yew logs worth so much.
I always thought that yew logs would be just as easy to cut as they were last year.
Now I stand corrected.
The reason is damn simple--many people are cutting them too.
Especially those pesky lvl3s. They're most likely people from China or Korea, and they simply cut and sell for millions of gp.
Then, they convert 1mil gp into real life money, around $5.
I've seen all the advertisements for the different websites set up just for this illegal trading of real life money for virtual money.
I can't enjoy Runescape this way, these lvl3s, they're clogging the game up and fouling it. I hate this.
Yet this is an increasingly steep upward trend. Runescape's moral standards are all but existent. It's becoming a rather morally degraded game, with all these cloggers around.
But no, I'm not such an idealist. I'm simply whining over the fact that I'm losing my yew logs and time to these morally degraded bastards.
Why, when my wc (woodcutting, not Weicheng) lvl is 73, do I lose to these cheapskates?
I feel so totally betrayed by Runescape.
I didn't train my character to lvl97 for nothing you know?? If I took such great pains into making my character strong, what right does this newbie have to spam and push the world servers into overdrive mode?
Simply put--the game standard is falling.
Runescape should pull up its socks, coz they're too low right now.
Ah well. I'm hungry. And a wee bit sleepy. I should turn in for the morning already, and hope that when i wake up to find that all this lvl3 monsters are simply figments of my imagination, my nightmare.
And also, that if the lvl3 cloggers are prevalent, at least, in the afternoon, the effect would not be that prominent.
If not, I really won't know what to do.
I need more money. And I'd earn through 'legal', virtual means.
Geez. I need 1.3million for full Guthix or something. Tough luck..
