No life at spiders?
Let's start off on the right note.
'When the world turns nasty on you, you've just gotta deal with it. It's not like somebody's gonna save you if you start babbling excuses. If I die, then I was just a man who could only make it this far!'
-Zoro, One Piece episode 376.
I've always wanted to live up to my name, but more often than not I end up failing. But that's OK, because I know I tried. I can't help people at times, and even if I could, I might get my offer refused. But that's OK.
A lot of things are OK.
Here's a song:
陳綺貞 - 天天想你
Just decided to put that up because that song is nice. Also because I like the singer. But that's not the point.
I have been stoning in front of the computer slaying spiders for the past few hours since I woke up at 12. Heh my sleeping hours, getting back to normal. I need to go find a job or something if not I'd be wasting a lot of electricity at home zomGod.
As many of you already know, I play Runescape like this: Go spiders, get attacked, auto-retaliate on, do other stuff.
Some people call this 'no-life', because I spend a lot of time blocking and defending against blobs of pixels. They think that I'd naturally stone in front of the computer just to watch my character block and slash, block and slash, block and slash.
Of course I don't do that. I was watching her MVs. Which reminds me: I wanted to watch Bleach(the first few episodes again) on Youtube when I saw the Recommended videos based on what the videos I've ever seen. That's when I chanced upon the song aforementioned.
Heh. Youtube knows my taste well. I'm glad.
Oh wait that's not the point. The point is that I do other stuff in front of the computer besides Runescape. Runescape is like, y'know, open it for free experience. Rather much like Travian in this respect, the click-and-wait while do other stuff kind.
So, in conclusion, my time online isn't spent solely on Runescape, although Runescape IS on whenever I'm using the computer. I don't have to give much shit to it because I just have to alt+tab every 30seconds or so to move the camera so that I wouldn't get logged out due to inactivity. And I only need to eat every minute or so, and move when the spiders are no longer aggressive.
In short, I'm just playing Runescape to level up. There's no fun in doing this, but the sensation of levelling up and getting a step closer to 99 defence is great.
(I'd love to get 99 defence in real life, just to tank things. More of tank for others, but ah well. Not the point.)
Today, as I was playing(or rather, training), this guy in my clan started to talk about how I'm not injoying the game by training at the spiders. He also accused me of not playing fair.
He chose to train on lesser demons, because it's more fun. Fun? You derive fun from F2P Runescape training? Please, f2ps are discriminated against. Look at the quest updates. Look at the options available to p2ps. Look at how fast their training can be.
Prayer? We get only big bones, 15exp each. P2ps? 200+ for dragon bones, guilded altar or something.
Where's the fun?
He also accused me of being a no-lifer. I mean, I'm doing other stuff like Travian and talking to myself, how can I be a 'no-lifer'? Look at him. He turns on his computer solely for Runescape. Where's the life in clicking on demons and picking up loot? Where's the fun in picking up loot? There's something gratifying to your existence by picking up pixellated stuff? He rendered me speechless.
I can just see how much life one has if he derives fun from clicking on pixels and picking up pixels.
Then he accused me of cheating, or training in an unfair way because I'm training on spiders. Hello, you can also right?
It's like a disabled person taking part in a competition for abled-body people; you're putting yourself at a disadvantage and crying foul.
Get some balls. And sportsmanship. Change your training style if you want training to be 'more fair' for you.
Oh and he mentioned something about my style being similar to macro-ing. Well, if I'm a bot then I've got nothing to say, but I always act fast when there's a random event. I'm nearly always in front of the computer, staring at other windows but knowing when a random event strikes.
Oh, wow, I'm some program code.
Pissed me off. I got a life outside of Runescape, and I like levelling up and stuff like that, but I'm not going to keep my eyes glued to the Runescape window.
I told my sis all this and she simply said 'But people who play online games are all very wu liao'.
And I agree with that. So we were arguing over who is more wu liao, and I think everyone can agree with me that simply being online is stupid. I don't injoy communication through pixels, seriously.
Bleh.
Oh yea, the 10 brothers show on channel 8, 7PM, is disturbing. I cringe whenever I see the fat, Zinedine Zidane-hairstyled man acting all-so-cute and blur and innocent and naive.
It gives me the creeps. I don't even know why I still watch that show. Brr. Someone save me.
I want to watch Avenue Q. Here's a rather funny DGM version of Sucks to be me(or you =.=):
And here's an old song by ASOS. The MV is..retro. They didn't even have to try though:
I keep spamming songs these days. I shall post another song tomorrow, from Chen Qi Zhen. Her English name is supposedly Cheer. I think it is. OK that was random. Never mind.
I can't do shit on Travian. I think I can tomorrow though.
I feel helpless.
Why can't I help you?
Why won't you let me?
How?
Gah.
Though I promised you, I don't know whether you would.
But whatever. Blah.
